Cayler Elliottson, 18, was killed when a driver of a vehicle in McHenry (North Dakota) hit him.
Now, that’s a horrible story, but the initial facts coming out on the case make it even more troubling: It wasn’t an accident.
Ellingson was at a street dancing when he heard Shannon Brandt chase him and called his mother. Cayler had already died by the time she got to him. Brandt admitted that the killing was shocking.
“He was the one who called 911 to report the crash,” said North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind.
According to court papers, Brandt called 911 Sunday morning at 2:30 AM and told the dispatcher that Ellingson was his latest hit.
