Speaking out. During a recent concert performance, Joe Jonas responded to Sophie Turner divorce rumors for the first time publicly since news broke of their split.
The 34-year-old Jonas Brothers frontman was performing with his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas on September 9, 2023, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California when he took a moment on stage to subtly address his split from the Game of Thrones actress. While he didn’t refer to his soon-to-be ex-wife by name, he did admit that this past week has been a “tough” one as rumors continue to swirl about their divorce.
“It’s been a tough week,” he said during the concert. The singer also went on to seemingly shut down social media rumors about their split. “I just wanna say, look, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it,” he added.
Joe also thanked his fans during this time: “Thank you everyone for your love and support,” he shared. “Me and my family love you guys.”
