After losing to Serbia, Mali’s Kourouma and Dabou fight

Two members of Mali’s women’s basketball team duked it out Monday following their latest loss in what has so far been a winless appearance in the women’s World Cup.

The postgame media room was the scene of a brief, captured-on-camera brawl. It took place after the team had been defeated 81-68. social media shows.

According to footage captured by Serbian media during player interviews, one player tried to connect on a few of the haymakers.

FIBA (the international basketball governing organization) has opened an inquiry into the incident between Salimatou Kourouma & Kamite Elisabeth Dabou.

The scuffle occurred in the postgame media area after Mali’s loss.

The average score for both players is less than 10 points per match, while Mali has lost all four of its games by an average 30 points.

Mali lost the tourney by an incredible 60 points to Australia earlier.

The African country originally didn’t even have the opportunity to compete on the world stage, but was a late entry to replace Nigeria, which had administrative issues.
