On Friday, Tucker Carlson hosted a special presidential forum in the great state of Iowa, where he facilitated conversations with Republican presidential hopefuls like Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R).
Carlson’s most colorful interaction was perhaps with former Vice President Mike Pence, who sparred with the former Fox News host over his position on sending aid to Ukraine.
Pence criticized the Biden administration for being “slow” in their support of the Ukrainian war efforts against Russia, even as Joe Biden authorized cluster munitions to be sent overseas this week. Additionally, Biden ordered the activation of 3,000 U.S. reserve troops to be deployed to help military operations in Europe.
Carlson replied to Pence’s comment with a stinging retort, slamming the former vice president’s concern with Ukraine when the current state of the Union is crumbling.
